VILLA NORTH is a cultural association that functions at the intersection of artists, authors and theorists. It is an open forum for artistic and scientific exchange in the national and international art and culture scene. Located in Millstatt, in the premises of a Gründerzeit villa, VILLA NORTH offers a unique space for open discourse and sees itself as a production site for culture and science. The association’s name VILLA NORTH goes back to the internationally renowned Carinthian professor of industrial design, bionics and landscape architecture, Prof. Dr. Peter North, whose diverse intellectual legacy is also to be understood as a central point of inspiration and linkage of the various disciplines.
